Brauerei Maisach in Maisach

Been here for a brewery tour. The tour was really great, lovingly held, very informative and the beers tasted had really palatable differences in taste. Plus lots of information about brewing and the brewery. 5 stars because it was a really great tour and really tasty beer. The only downer: the beer is unfortunately not available in northern Germany, as it is a small brewery. That's too bad ;)

Been there spontaneously with a group of friends. The food is really very good, but sometimes a bit overpriced. What is not at all possible for a brewery inn is the very expensive beer, I find half of it for € 4.30 (despite the Munich area) very steep. The service was friendly, even if it struggled a bit with the sudden rush of unexpected guests, the food came quickly. There is also a very nice beer garden, which is now taking a winter break until next year.

Very unfriendly and overwhelmed staff. Price / performance ratio is not in proportion. The food is good, but expensive. Personally, I think the beer is well below the Munich standard.

The gourmet of beer should definitely try the cellar beer from the barrel in a stone jug and, if the season permits, the Maisacher Bock. The Maisacher brew is not one that tastes like everyone else. Hopefully it will remain with us for a long time without these beer companies.

Very rude service, did not even let us sit on the terrace with 2 dogs, nothing was going on, extremely outrageous !!

We wanted to eat in the beer garden Spare ribs, the portion € 11.-. We looked at the ribs in the "incubator" before ordering and discovered small, thin, dry bits of ribs. On my question what sauce would come to the answer came - no. But maybe it would be possible to add a kind of chilli sauce for once. Then I wanted to know how much of the ribs (one rack each with 5-7 bones and estimated 150gr. Meat) are served. Well - one serving = 1 rack for € 11 each. Here should urgently prices be checked. Every innkeeper must earn reasonable, but also the use of goods must then fit. No thanks, that's how Gastro works, at least for us, certainly not. Too bad for such a nice beer garden in the middle of Maisach.

2nd visit: it was great again. Delicious! 1st visit: Great food! Great beer! And something more historical from the region: Räuber Kneißl. In the basement there is an interesting little museum about this unusual story.

Food is very good but also very expensive!

Very unfriendly, overstrained and annoyed staff at noon (24/09/2018), so we gladly refrained to try the dishes ... Definitely no recommendation!

Very nice Bavarian restaurant with traditional dishes, very cozy dining room. A little expensive in my opinion.
